Mission
The mission of the Issaquah PTSA Council is to advocate for children at the local and state levels; build strong PTAs/PTSAs through education and leadership support; and provide collaborative opportunities between PTAs/PTSAs, the school district, and other community organizations concerned with the health, welfare, and education of all children.
Goals
Ensure the longevity and strength of all our local PTSA/PTA Boards through training opportunities and creating strong PTSA/PTA connections.
Educate our members about the Issaquah PTSA Council committees and provide updates about new and changing policies and programs including, but not limited to Art Docents, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Family and Community Engagement (FACE), Outreach, ParentWiser, Reflections, Special Education Network, and our community partners.
Increase the advocacy efforts of our members by providing avenues to participate in the legislative process.
Support local PTA/PTSA efforts toward increasing family engagement and inclusivity to increase their membership.
Council will grow strategic partnerships and promote volunteerism & in-kind gift donations to better support our community.

Our mission is to promote a school culture that honors the rich diversity of our community by building bridges that cultivate equity. We seek to engage all families. We are dedicated to creating a community where diversity is celebrated, equity is pursued, and everyone is encouraged to contribute.
