Membership once again rocks in Issaquah
Maple Hills won the “12 in 2012” Membership Drive, for enrolling the most new members in the state. They get to send someone to State PTA Convention for free next year!
In Washington State there were 19 100% membership units which means that every student in a school is covered by a PTSA member. Of those 19 units 17 were in our Region 2 and 11 were in Issaquah. They are
- Cascade Ridge
- Creekside
- Challenger
- Cougar Ridge PTSA
- Maple Hills
- Endeavour
- Sunny Hills
- Sunset PTA
- Beaver Lake Middle
- Pacific Cascade Middle
- Pine Lake Middle
So if I do my math correctly and my memory serves me right we’re 10% of the membership in the state with 1% of the students.
We also had 2 units recognized with 100% teacher membership
- Cascade Ridge PTSA 2.6.2
- Endeavour PTA 2.6.20
And as I speak there is someone busy working on something to celebrate and appreciate our staff during this week of staff appreciation.
With all these wonderful things to report I encourage you to come to hear the full story at our end of year luncheon next Thursday May 17th at Tibbett.
