  3. Issaquah Arts Commission Grant information can be found here  deadline for applications is November 1st
  4. Communicate Communicate Communicate  Please make sure you are passing on names of your special needs and outreach chairs to council

New Information

  • Keep checking on the council website for district wide events. Use your directory it is a great tool for contacting folks in our region
  • Turkey Trot in support of Issaquah food bank .The Issaquah Turkey Trot is a casual and family fun 5K walk, run or “trot” Thanksgiving Morning at 9am. The cost for Adults & Children 11 and older is $25. The cost for children 10 and younger is $5 which includes a t-shirt and a Gobble Wobble punch card. Proceeds to the event go to the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank.
  • November 8 th a representative from Vantiv will be at our meeting as the program speaker so please plan to invite your treasurers. This meeting will be in the Eagle room at Issaquah police station.
  • PTA and the Principal 13th November 11.00 -12.00pm. Please plan to attend.  Your principal will already be at district for a monthly meeting.
  • Reflections turn in 8th November at art East in Issaquah. Gallery Art walk 8th January.

Following Best Practices does not mean you have to check off everything on the list. Your goal should be to check off more this year than last year and/or improve on those items you do check off. If you do not check off something this year, work with your Board to come up with ways to accomplish it next year.
