General Information:
- Please bring one of your voting delegates to each the Council Meetings, when you are in the Spotlight, your whole board is invited to join us.
- Kudos to the Liberty students who presented at the School Board meeting. They did an excellent job representing themselves and their school.
- Be sure and check out the Party Brochure and get the document out to your population.
- Word back from Region 2 is that giving gift cards is equivalent to paying volunteers. If you are doing this practice you should stop.
Best Practices –
Now is a good time to start your notebooks for PTA State Awards. We encourage every president to complete this for your unit. If you are willing please email us with a “YES ~ we can do it!” No council has ever had 100% completion of SOE ~ could we be the first?
Following Best Practices does not mean you have to check off everything on the list. Your goal should be to check off more this year than last year and/or improve on those items you do check off. If you do not check off something this year, work with your Board to come up with ways to accomplish it next year.
Standards of Excellence awards form: read instructions very carefully and follow them exactly. Only include what is asked for and in the way it is asked for.
